Nathan Ferguson posts five-word tweet after seeing West Brom XI v Birmingham
Nathan Ferguson has wished West Brom the best in their clash against Birmingham City on Saturday after seeing the team news.
Slaven Bilic opted to make a number of changes from the side that drew 0-0 at Swansea in the last game before the season was suspended.
Dara O’Shea, Kyle Bartley, Kieran Gibbs and Filip Krovinovic have all lost their places – rather harshly – and been replaced by Darnell Furlong, Ahmed Hegazi, Kieran Gibbs and Matt Phillips.
Ferguson, 19, was not named in the squad as the exit-bound full-back is still recovering from the surgery he underwent in the winter.
However that hasn’t stopped the teenager from reacting to Albion’s team news.
He wrote on his personal Twitter account: “Good luck boys. Final push.”
Ferguson was never going to be involved against Blues because of his injury and it is unlikely he will ever be involved again for the Baggies.
The 19-year-old’s contract expires at the end of June and it is widely expected that he will join Crystal Palace.
West Brom fans are not too pleased with the way Ferguson has tried to manoeuvre a move away from The Hawthorns amid Premier League interest.
It is probably for the best that he moves on.
In other West Brom news, it has been suggested this 29-year-old signed by Tony Pulis could leave in the next transfer window.
