Krovinovic shares West Brom team bus video with Diangana and Pereira ahead of clash v Brentford
West Brom loanee Filip Krovinovic has shared a video of himself and teammates Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira preparing for their clash with Brentford on Friday night.
The Croatian took to Instagram to share footage from the Baggies’ team bus as it made the journey down to London on Thursday ahead of the vital Championship promotion clash.
In the clip, Krovinovic, Diangana, and Pereira can be seen laughing and joking while they make smoothies in a food processor.
Krovinovic captioned the post: “We are ready for tomorrow”, alongside a laughing emoji.
The 24-year-old was restricted to a five-minute cameo in the 0-0 draw against Birmingham City last weekend, but seemed in good spirits as he and his teammates prepared for a clash that could have major ramifications for their Premier League hopes.
Those smoothies don’t look up to much if we’re being completely honest, but at the very least, it’s good to see the lads so relaxed ahead of such a vital game in our season.
If we can win this one it would take us 10 points clear of the play-off places with seven games left to play.
Barring some kind of unprecedented capitulation, you would hope that would be enough to see us over the line.
The fact that Fulham come up against Leeds United tomorrow is cause for some hope too, with a win for Marcelo Bielsa’s men reinforcing our position even more.
But Brentford can’t be dismissed either, and after their own win against Fulham last weekend, they’ll be riding into this one on the crest of a wave of confidence.
They were the only side in the top six to pick up maximum points last time out, and a repeat performance against Albion would cut their lead on the top two to just five points.
This is going to be a huge match.
