‘Unreal’, ‘What a player’, ‘Divine’ – Many West Brom fans wowed by £800k ace at HT v Derby
West Brom fans have been drooling over Kamil Grosicki’s performance in the first half of their clash against Derby County on Wednesday.
Grosicki, 32, did well enough by scoring against Hull at the weekend to earn his second start for the Baggies as he lined up on the left-wing again.
And Slaven Bilic’s faith in the Poland international was clearly well placed with him assisting Grady Diangana’s opener in the 11th minute.
Grosicki’s pass to Diangana was inch-perfect, allowing the West Ham loanee to squeeze the ball into the back of the Derby goal from a tight angle.
It’s the third match in a row where Grosicki has been directly involved in a goal, assisting two and scoring one.
It makes us – and one Albion fan – wonder why Bilic didn’t even name the £800,000 January signing in his matchday squads against Birmingham and Brentford.
Supporters loved Grosicki’s opening 45 minutes against Derby at The Hawthorns and here is a selection of their tweets:

Grosicki is showing he is more than just a back-up option for West Brom.
With the 32-year-old among the paciest players in the Championship, it would be easy to assume he’s no more than an impact player for a team like the Baggies.
But his performances from the start against Hull and now Derby show that he is someone who could be considered to play a role for Albion in the Premier League next term – if they get there.
