Reported West Brom January target sends two-word Insta message to Diangana
Reported West Brom target Bright Osayi-Samuel has taken to Instagram to send a message to current Baggies loanee Grady Diangana.
The QPR winger was reportedly a target for Albion in the latter stages of the January transfer window, but a move from the capital to The Hawthorns failed to materialise.
But it would appear that the 22-year-old is still keeping a relatively close eye on goings on in the midlands.
Following West Brom’s commanding win over Derby County on Wednesday night, Diangana took to Instagram to share a number of photos alongside the caption: “What a team performance! 3 points!
“Now, on to the next!”
Responding to that comment, Osayi-Samuel wrote: “That’s it” alongside a love heart emoji.
This is certainly an interesting turn-up.
Of course, if we’re being entirely realistic, this probably isn’t a signifier of anything other than Osayi-Samuel’s friendship with Diangana.
But you can’t blame us for getting a little bit excited whenever the QPR man is mentioned in the same breath as the Baggies.
He is a flying machine, and has a higher dribble success rate than Diangana this season, according to Wyscout.
West Brom News have already taken an in-depth look at the player, and we even went as far as to suggest that he could be the man to replace Diangana if we can’t secure a second loan deal for the West Ham man this summer.
Commenting on Instagram posts won’t make a potential deal any more likely, but all we can say is that we would be delighted if we could rekindle the interest that fizzled out earlier this year.
In other West Brom news, Albion could be invited to play for silverware at Wembley next month.
