‘Baggies should get a fine’ – Many Derby fans want West Brom player banned after FA decision
Derby County fans are calling on the FA to ban West Brom defender Dara O’Shea over an incident that occurred on Wednesday night.
In the latter stages of West Brom’s 2-0 win over Derby at The Hawthorns, Louie Sibley was shown a straight red card by referee Darren Bond.
Sibley appeared to kick out his foot a tiny bit while standing over O’Shea, who then reacted as though he was in pain.

Since the incident, the FA have decided to rescind Sibley’s red card and resulting three-match suspension, making him available to play in Derby’s clash against Brentford this weekend.
A large section of Derby fans are now calling on O’Shea to be banned for feigning injury but we don’t see how that could happen.
Sibley did do a little kick out at O’Shea while he was on the floor. It might have hurt O’Shea, it might not. The FA cannot prove that.
However they could prove that what Sibley did wasn’t really violent conduct, just a bit petulant and a booking probably would have sufficed.
That hasn’t stopped Derby fans from wanting the book thrown at O’Shea.
We just assume they’re still a bit bitter from him scoring against them.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
This next tweet made us laugh because, apparently, there’s a “love affair” involving West Brom, the EFL and the FA.
Your guess is as good as ours.
