Confirmed: West Brom clash rescheduled for Sky Sports broadcast

West Brom have had their match against Huddersfield Town selected for broadcast by Sky Sports.

The Baggies made the announcement via their official website on Friday.

Albion’s clash against the Terriers will be their penultimate of the season, and was initially due to be played on Saturday July 18th.

The game will now take place the day before on July 17th, and will be a 5.30pm kick-off.

Results depending, that could be the game that sees West Brom secure promotion.

The Baggies need a maximum of eight points from their remaining four games, and wins in their next two matches against Blackburn Rovers and Fulham would put them on the brink of a top flight return.

This is great news.

There is every chance that we could go into the Huddersfield match knowing that a win would secure promotion, and while it would be much better to be in the stands for that moment, at least we now know that we will have the opportunity to watch it in some capacity.

Of course, we mustn’t get ahead of ourselves, but there’s no reason to believe that we can’t win our next two matches.

We’re in fine form at the moment, while Blackburn Rovers, who we play on Saturday, have hit a pretty poor slump of late.

Fulham won’t be a walkover, but with their automatic promotion hopes all but extinguished, there’s every chance that they could rest players by the time we play them next Tuesday.

Here’s hoping we have something to celebrate next Friday night.

In other West Brom news, Albion could be invited to play for silverware at Wembley next month.
