Harry Redknapp predicts winner in West Brom clash v Blackburn Rovers

Harry Redknapp has backed West Brom to take all three points when they face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

The Baggies go into the game off the back of three consecutive victories, and find themselves five points clear of the play-off places with four games left to play.

And Redknapp has believes Albion will keep up their impressive form going when they face off against Rovers this weekend.

Speaking to Bet Victor, he said: “The race for promotion in the Championship has been fascinating and, despite both Brentford and Fulham giving Leeds and West Brom plenty to think about, it would appear the top two now have the Premier League firmly in their sights.

“The Baggies hold a five point lead with four games to play and must be confident of retaining an automatic promotion berth.

“A recent blip and two points in 12 was a worry, but they have bounced back to record a hat-trick of victories and were impressive in midweek, defeating play-off challengers Derby County 2-0 at the Hawthorns.

“Title favourites Leeds were 3-1 winners in Lancashire and The Baggies will look to match that and keep the pressure on at the summit.”

Another win on Saturday would put us in a hugely commanding position.

At least five clear with three to play, three points would put us within in touching distance of the Premier League.

Of course, nothing can be taken for granted, but the midweek display against Derby was exactly the kind of output that Bilic will have been desperate to see from his players in these final closing stages of the season.

Blackburn were going well recently, but three losses in four have dinted their promotion hopes severely, and you would like to think that we’ll have too much for them at Ewood Park on Saturday.

In other West Brom news, Albion could be invited to play for silverware at Wembley next month.
