‘Better than Messi’, ‘Remarkable’ – These West Brom fans rave about player at HT v B’burn

West Brom fans were delighted with Kamil Grosicki once more as he shone in the first half against Blackburn at Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon.

Grosicki, 32, joined the Baggies from Hull in January but failed to start a single Championship match before the coronavirus-enforced suspension of the season.

Slaven Bilic then failed to name him in the matchday squads versus Birmingham and Brentford before having major impacts against Sheffield Wednesday, Hull and Derby.

Grosicki came off the bench to assist a goal at Hillsborough before being handed his first start – and scoring his first Baggies goal – against former club Hull.

The Polish winger did so well against the Tigers that he has kept his starting spot since, keeping the likes of Matt Phillips and Callum Robinson out of the side.

And in the opening 45 minutes against Blackburn this weekend, Grosicki was the man who West Brom fans were talking about once again.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Grosicki’s arrival in January is looking more and more like an inspired signing by Bilic each time he plays.

We are at a key stage of the season now and we hope that the former Hull attacker can carry on shining in the final matches of the campaign to help West Brom seal promotion back to the Premier League.

In other West Brom news, Albion fans have hit out at Nathan Ferguson for his tweet about the latest contract news at The Hawthorns.
