‘Brentford are lurking’ – Sky Sports pundit predicts score for ‘Big’ West Brom clash v Hudds

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted that West Brom will secure a huge 2-0 win against Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday evening.

In order to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League, the Baggies know that they must win their last two matches to keep their fate in their own hands.

Brentford are just a point behind Slaven Bilic’s side but Prutton believes that gap will open up to four on Friday by tipping Albion to win 2-0 in Yorkshire.

“What a big game to kick off the weekend’s action on Friday night. Huddersfield start the weekend three points clear of the relegation zone and a win will surely be enough for them to stay up,” Prutton wrote on the Sky Sports website.

“West Brom can’t afford to drop points. Brentford are lurking right on their shoulder and waiting to take advantage. This will be a close one, but I have to still back the Baggies to pull through.”

West Brom fans are fully aware of how tough this match is as it is going to be between two teams who are both in desperate need of points.

Albion must win while Huddersfield can secure their safety with a point if Hull and Luton lose their next matches.

Of course, the Terriers will want all three points to strengthen their survival bid even more but anything less than a win is essentially going to feel like a loss for the Baggies on Friday.

Bilic and his players have to win – it’s as simple as that.

If they do then we do not need to talk about Brentford this weekend – unless they lose.
