Confirmed West Brom team news: Attackers dropped in two changes v Hudds, Brunt in squad

West Brom manager Slaven Bilic has made two changes to his starting line-up ahead of their clash against Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday.

An hour ahead of kick-off, Albion confirmed on their official Twitter account that Matt Phillips and Hal Robson-Kanu have returned to the squad with attackers Kamil Grosicki and Charlie Austin being dropped to the bench.

There’s also a spot for Chris Brunt on the bench in what promises to be a huge match for Albion.

West Brom must win this match – there are no two ways about it.

Brentford are just one point behind the Baggies with two matches left to play so any slip up by Bilic’s men now can be pounced upon by the Bees.

However if Albion beat Huddersfield and Brentford suffer a shock defeat to a Stoke side who are under no pressure on Saturday, then that will secure automatic promotion back to the Premier League for the Black Country club.

But, nevermind Brentford for now. West Brom know that a top-two finish is in their hands and winning against Huddersfield is 50 per cent of the job done.

Huddersfield are fighting to secure their survival down the opposite end of the Championship table but you would imagine this team that Bilic has put out is more than capable of winning all three points and putting one foot in the Premier League.
