‘You just don’t know’ – Exclusive: Phillips makes prediction about Huddersfield v West Brom

Kevin Phillips has predicted a tough game for West Brom when they play Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday evening.
With Brentford breathing down their necks, Albion know that two wins from their last two matches will seal automatic promotion to the Premier League.
However, their next game is against a team who are still trying to avoid relegation to League One, so this is by no means a game where the Baggies can expect their opposition to roll over.
Phillips is confident that West Brom can get a result based on their away form this season but is still wary of the threat that Danny Cowley’s side can pose.
“It will be tricky because the Cowley brothers are still in the relegation dogfight,” Phillips told West Brom News.
“I’ve seen one or two performances this season with West Brom away and they’ve dominated matches. They’ve certainly got it in their ranks to do it but it’s not going to be easy. You just don’t know what pressure will do.
“If West Brom play to their potential then I don’t see any hiccups but it’s always tough playing for a team fighting for their lives because they won’t give up.”
There is not one Albion fan who isn’t slightly nervous about this game.
Without considering Wigan’s 12-point deduction, Huddersfield are just three points clear of the relegation zone so they know a draw against the Baggies could secure their survival if Hull and Luton lose their next games.
They’re a dangerous team to play but they’re a team who should not strike much fear into the Albion players, who beat them earlier this season and have been miles better than them all season.
It’s bound to be tense affair but Slaven Bilic’s men need to win this match, so we expect them to do just that.
