Hal Robson-Kanu sends Insta message to Leeds player after West Brom defeat hands them promotion
Former West Brom player Tyler Roberts has been celebrating promotion with Leeds United after the Baggies’ defeat to Huddersfield confirmed a top-two spot for the Whites.
West Brom sold Roberts, 21, to Leeds in January 2018 and he has since played a key role in helping Marcelo Bielsa’s side win promotion back to the top-flight after a 16-year absence.
Roberts has since celebrated promotion on his personal Instagram account, thanking the club’s supporters.

Roberts’ post led to some responses by West Brom players while ex-Albion youngster Nathan Ferguson also replied.
Even though he’d just played a role in the defeat to Huddersfield that handed promotion to Leeds, Hal Robson-Kanu also replied with a couple of clapping emojis as well as a kiss.
Robson-Kanu was one of many Baggies players who simply weren’t good enough on Friday night.
Slaven Bilic’s men looked as though they had crumbled under the pressure of the race for automatic promotion as they lost 2-1, gifting a goal to Huddersfield in the opening four minutes while never really looking as though they were causing issues for their defence.
Robson-Kanu’s form since the restart has been woeful.
We understand that Charlie Austin had to be rested because he’s nowhere near up to scratch in terms of fitness but we can’t rely on the goal-shy Welshman past the end of this season.
