West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to urge Slaven Bilic to hand Chris Brunt a spot in the starting line-up against QPR on Wednesday night.

Brunt, 35, will end his 13-year association with the Baggies once the season ends after earning over 400 appearances for the club.

There is no denying that the Northern Irish midfielder is a modern-day West Brom legend and fans would love to see him have one last chance to shine on Wednesday when QPR visit The Hawthorns.

Although it would be amazing to see Brunt help lead West Brom to promotion in his final appearance for the club, it would be a risky move by Bilic.

Brunt has played just 10 times in all competitions this season and has played just 18 minutes' worth of football since the campaign restarted last month when he came off the bench against Hull.

Although we understand that Bilic's midfield drastically underperformed at Huddersfield on Friday, swapping out someone like Romaine Sawyers for someone who is unlikely to be up to full speed is a gamble.

We would love to see Brunt get a run-out towards the end of the match if we're winning but there are plenty of fans who want to see him start.
