Sky Sports pundit predicts West Brom v QPR after ‘Slipping up’, says who’ll win PL promotion
Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted that West Brom will secure automatic promotion to the Premier League by beating QPR on Wednesday.
Slaven Bilic’s side go into the final game of the regular season just one point ahead of third-placed Brentford and two clear of Fulham in fourth.
Both West London sides can leapfrog Albion to snatch the last automatic promotion spot from them but ex-Leeds midfielder Prutton is sure that the Baggies will get the job done against QPR.

“What a let-off that was for West Brom. After slipping up at Huddersfield, they would have been thinking the worst, but then Brentford struggled under the pressure of it all the very next day at Stoke. It was an incredible weekend of action in many ways,” Prutton wrote on the Sky Sports website.
“Pressure will play a big part again on Wednesday night, but West Brom could barely have handpicked a better fixture to finish their season. It really is the time where you would always rather be playing against a side with nothing to play for.
“Fulham will be hoping both slip up so they can sneak through the door, but I think West Brom and Brentford will both win – sealing promotion for the Baggies.”

As Prutton says, this is a perfect match for West Brom to finish on.
QPR do not want to see West London rivals Brentford and Fulham win promotion to the Premier League while Rangers have nothing to play for themselves in the Championship.
The Baggies also have a great record against QPR, winning 7-1 against them in last season’s meeting at The Hawthorns.
While it all looks good for Albion on paper, this is the Championship and you simply don’t know what’s going to be thrown up next.
But, after the disappointment of losing to Huddersfield on Friday, we expect Bilic and his players to bounce back and really get the job done against QPR.
