David Moyes shares verdict on Grady Diangana future as speculation continues to grow

West Ham United boss David Moyes has admitted that he is looking forward to West Brom loanee Grady Diangana returning to the London Stadium.

The Irons manager congratulated the winger for his achievements at the Hawthorns, helping the Baggies seal promotion to the Premier League.

Diangana scored the first goal in the 2-2 draw against Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday and was involved in the wild celebrations after the full-time whistle.

Moyes was quick to reiterate that Diangana is a Hammers player and that he is excited over his potential for the future in East London.

“I’m really pleased for him because to be successful and win in the Championship, as we all know the Championship is a real tough league, so to play the game and be a winner in football, I’m pleased for him,” he said via the Birmingham Mail.

“It will give him the confidence of being in a winning side, scoring, and playing well so I’m looking forward to getting him back. I think he had his best part of last season in the first half up until lockdown as he picked up a hamstring injury.”

Slaven Bilic has never hidden the fact that he is a massive fan of the 22-year-old, and would love for him to sign permanently.

The Daily Star has reported that Bilic will urge the Baggies board to make a move for Diangana, who will reportedly cost the club up to £20million if they wish to do so.

The winger could be willing to leave the capital in the summer, but Albion face stiff competition from the likes of Celtic and Ajax [The Sun].
