View: Latest Insta post from WBA loanee surely proves that he would be happy to rejoin in 20/21
West Brom have had plenty to thank their loanees for this season.
From Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira dazzling on a weekly basis, to Filip Krovinovic bringing some much-needed class to the squad, the Baggies utilised a number of temporary deals very cleverly to get their promotion push over the line.
And one man who ended up playing a crucial role in securing a top flight return was Callum Robinson.
The Sheffield United winger was on hand to score one and provide an assist for the other in Albion’s 2-2 draw against QPR on Wednesday evening, wrapping up a point that got the job done for Slaven Bilic’s men.
Whether Robinson will be returning to The Hawthorns next season is still not abundantly clear, with Blades manager Chris Wilder has delivered a pretty vague answer on the subject, while there is no official option-to-buy written into the player’s deal.
But judging by his latest Instagram post, the 25-year-old is more than a little enamoured with the Baggies.
Posting on his story on Saturday, Robinson shared a photo of him relaxing in a West Brom shirt alongside the caption: “Still buzzing”.
Who can blame him either?
Securing promotion after such a long and tiring season must be a huge relief, and he and his teammates have more than earned the right to kick back and enjoy themselves for a little while.
But more importantly, this post shows us a player who is clearly very happy at the club.
After achieving what he has this season, and caring as much as he so clearly does here, it would surely be a surprise if he wasn’t open to the prospect of rejoining the Baggies next season, should the opportunity arise.
