‘If this is true…’, ‘Great coup’ – These West Brom fans react to exciting transfer update
West Brom fans are delighted by a report from Croatian outlet IndexHR that claimed Slaven Bilic is back in for prolific winger Mislav Orsic.
If he signed in this window it would bring to an end a long-running saga that saw West Brom reportedly have two offers – of £6.7m and £7.5m – rejected for him in January.
The third West Brom offer is now said to be £8.5m but while fans are happy to be linked with the versatile international winger again, some think it signals the end of Grady Diangana at The Hawthorns.
Diangana is now back at West Ham after a successful season-long loan where the 22-year-old scored eight goals and registered seven assists.
It’s thought that David Moyes will give him a chance at West Ham next season, which means a move for Orsic makes a lot of sense.
One fan said it would be a “great coup” if Bilic could bring the Croatian international to the midlands, while another said it was “maybe reflective of planning without Diangana”.
21 goals in 42 games for Orsic proves that he knows where the goal is and he can play on either flank or up front.
