23y/o on books at Champions League club posts photo of training session in West Brom shirt
Izzy Brown has posted a photo to his personal Instagram account showing him training in a West Brom shirt.
The 23-year-old midfielder left boyhood club Albion in 2013 to sign for Chelsea, and is still on the books with the Blues.
He has struggled to make an impression in then capital, however, and only has one senior appearance to his name at Stamford Bridge.

Instead, for the most part, Brown has undergone a number of loan spells at various clubs across the English footballing pyramid.
Most recently, he spent the 2019/20 campaign with Luton Town, recording seven assists in 25 Championship appearances as he helped the Hatters to avoid relegation.
Speculation surrounding the possibility of Brown returning to The Hawthorns was stoked earlier in the week when the Baggies’ official website inexplicably began listing the player among their first team squad again.
However, the listing has since been removed, and the number 43, which was noted alongside Brown’s name, is currently occupied by academy prospect Rico Richards.
But nonetheless, Brown has proven that he still has some affinity to West Brom by sharing a photo of himself training in an Albion shirt.
In the image, posted to his personal Instagram account, the playmaker can be seen in what appears to be a full Baggies kit from last season, along with EFL arm patch.

Truth be told, this is almost certainly just a coincidence.
That recent post to the club’s official website was odd to say the least, but there is every chance that it was just a glitch, especially given the fact that Rico Richards currently now holds the number 43 shirt.
As for Brown training in a Baggies shirt, it’s good, but it’s probably just a small nod to his former club, rather than any kind of indicator that a return is on the cards.
Still, it is nice to see, and after a much improved season at Luton last term, we hope that Brown can finally realise his potential going into the 2020/21 campaign, wherever he ends up plying his trade.
In other West Brom news, Albion are set to bid £7.2million for this international attacker.
