'Ridiculous' - Many West Brom fans react as club reportedly have 'cheeky' offer snubbed
West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to urge the club not to miss out on a deal for Filip Krovinovic.
The Croatian midfielder enjoyed a successful loan spell at The Hawthorns last season, and played a key role in helping the Baggies to secure automatic promotion.
According to Portuguese outlet Record, Albion have had a bid to secure a second loan deal for the 24-year-old turned down by his parent club Benfica.
The report suggests that the Portuguese side are only interested in a permanent transfer for the player this summer.
It is understood that West Brom would not be willing to pay more than £9 million for Krovinovic.
And supporters have been quick to lobby the club in favour of a deal being struck.
We would have to back that bid too.
Krovinovic got off to a fairly slow start in England, but once he hit his stride around the turn of the year, he looked like a real asset.
More than anything though, he seems to just get the club.
From drinking with fans during a recent holiday to striking up a friendship with Matheus Pereira, who claims he is like a brother, the midfielder is clearly a popular figure in the midlands.
Unity and continuity could be a key weapon for Albion this coming season, and his presence would surely be missed in the dressing room if he doesn't return to the club this summer.

In other West Brom news, the Baggies are keen to sign this Tottenham player on loan.
