‘Bromance’ – Filip Krovinovic shares picture with Matheus Pereira in Croatia
The scenes of Matheus Pereira and Filip Krovinovic rolling around on the Hawthorns pitch after West Brom sealed promotion only highlighted the delight in the midlands.
The Baggies loan duo formed a great relationship both on-and-off the pitch, and that has continued after the season.
It was Pereira who made more of an impact for Slaven Bilic, but the Croatian was called upon to great effect in the final weeks of the season in midfield.
What are the chances of both being at the club in the Premier League next season? As things stand, they are relatively high.
Pereira has all but signed for the club, the Brazilian has waved goodbye to everyone at Sporting CP. All that he needs to do now is sign the paperwork, with John Percy sharing the final details needed to confirm the switch.
The Baggies are also in talks over a loan-to-buy deal for Krovinovic, and that would see them back together next season – exactly what we all want to see.
Their relationship has blossomed even after the season has finished, with Krovinovic sharing a photo of the two in Croatia on his official Facebook page.
“When you can’t get rid of a stalker even on your vacation in my home country, #bromance,” he joked.
This partnership has been phenomenal, and it will also have helped the two settle into a country that they had never played in before.
Keeping them both delighted could see them excel once again in the Premier League, and Slaven Bilic will be keen to keep them together next season.
