Kyle Edwards and Jonathan Leko respond as Leeds star shares Instagram post
West Brom and Leeds United occupied the Championship top-two for the majority of last season, and both earned promotion to the Premier League.
The Baggies may have fallen off in the final month of the campaign, not winning any of their last four games, but the end result stayed the same.
Fans of both clubs came together to celebrate the failure of Brentford after they threw away two chances to earn automatic promotion.
The players of both clubs also came together after their celebrations, joining each other on holiday in Spain.
Kalvin Phillips and Ben White of Leeds were joined by the likes of Albion duo Jonathan Leko and Kyle Edwards.
The Whites midfielder shared an Instagram post on Friday afternoon, simply asking Edwards were the two clubs were heading next season.
“Prem baby,” Edwards responded.
Leko and Edwards have always been close with Tyler Roberts from their days in the Baggies academy, and Phillips has recently emerged in that group.
All may not be what it seems though, especially for Leko.
The young winger endured a nightmare season, suffering from a serious injury and also being put through the gruelling investigation into the racism charge of Kiko Casilla.
The FA took months to find the Spaniard guilty, and it simply wasn’t good enough. On top of that, that investigation may be what the Albion fans remember him for.
The Telegraph recently reported that West Brom could look to sell the winger, as they need to sell a number of players to raise funds – unfortunate.
In other West Brom news, Phillips is concerned with the speculation surrounding the Baggies with switch for 25-year-old
