‘Vile’, ‘Never wear it’, ‘Please be a joke’ – Many WBA fans react to third kit unveiling
West Brom are less than three weeks away from their return to the Premier League.
The excitement levels are starting to grow daily, with their opening game against Leicester at the Hawthorns a real challenge.
Slaven Bilic has been speaking to the media, and the only thing missing now are some reinforcements to help the Albion.
West Brom finally released their third kit on Sunday afternoon, meaning that the so-called “trilogy” of kits were out for everyone to see.
The Baggies took inspiration from their strips in the early ’90s once again after the positive feedback from the yellow and green kit in recent years.
This time, the third strip is now red and yellow – although it hasn’t gone down very well with the majority of the fans.
West Brom labelled it as the “greatest trilogy”, although not many seemed to agree.
Looking at whether or not the Baggies will be in this strip regularly, it is hard to envisage them doing so in the Premier League.
With the away strip also being green, there aren’t many sides that will require them to wear the kit which one fan even compared to McDonald’s.
West Brom are returning to the Premier League after two years away, and if they do well, this one kit could be the one memory from a successful year, and it doesn’t seem to be leaving the memory quick.
