‘100%’, ‘Would be incredible for us’ – Many West Brom fans want to sign ‘Solid’ Chelsea defender
A section of West Brom fans on Twitter would love to see the club sign Fikayo Tomori on loan from Chelsea this summer.
Guardian and Sky Sports Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on his personal Twitter account on Monday that Chelsea will think about sending Tomori, 22, out on loan this summer with clubs in Ligue 1 interested.
West Brom have not been linked with the one-time England international but news of his potential availability on loan has piqued the interest of Baggies supporters.
Tomori made 22 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea last season, scoring two goals in the process.

Albion have a number of centre-back options at the moment in Semi Ajayi, Kyle Bartley, Ahmed Hegazi and Dara O’Shea but Slaven Bilic saw his side concede 45 goals in 46 Championship matches last season and the general consensus is that reinforcements are needed to tighten up a leaky back-line.
One West Brom supporter believes that signing Tomori on a season-long loan from Chelsea “would be an excellent bit of business” while another fan added that a deal would be “incredible”.

If Tomori is available on loan then we don’t see why West Brom wouldn’t be interested in signing him.
Bilic could do with upgrading his defensive options before the transfer window closes and Tomori showed enough times at Chelsea last season that he could do that for the Baggies.
Stats by WyScout show that the Canadian-born centre-back averaged 10.94 recoveries, 4.58 interceptions and 2.83 clearances per 90 minutes of Premier League football last season while also winning 72.8 per cent of all his defensive duels.
We think he’d be a good fit at West Brom but does he have the leadership qualities to replace someone like Bartley?
Former Canada under-20s coach Rob Gale, who briefly coached Tomori, was quoted by BBC Sport last year as saying he stepped up when made captain in a shock 2-1 win over an England side boasting Marcus Rashford.
Frank Lampard has said that Tomori is “quiet” in the past, but his development over the last year or so might have changed him into a defensive leader that Albion need.
In other West Brom news, Kaveh Solhekol has said how many new signings Bilic wants to make before the season kicks off next month.
