‘Might be going’ – PL manager responds to question on 25y/o future amid West Brom interest
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has responded to a question on West Brom’s interest in Callum Robinson by admitting that a couple of players could still leave Bramall Lane this summer.
The 25-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at The Hawthorns, and played his part in the Baggies securing their promotion back to the Premier League.
Sky Sports reported earlier in the week that Albion are in advanced talks to re-sign the versatile attacker, and Wilder has done little to dispel that suggestion in his latest update on the matter.

As quoted by the Sheffield Star, he said: “Callum had a fantastic half of the season with West Bromwich Albion.
“But he is a Sheffield United player, he played the other night and until that changes he’s with us.
“It’s important that we improve at the top of the pitch, so a couple might be going out, and a couple coming in.”

The vague nature of Wilder’s response almost certainly means that there is some substance to the reports linking Robinson with a return to West Brom.
At the very least, it sounds like a non-committal answer from a boss who knows that his player could very well be headed for the exit door.
And if a deal for Robinson can be struck, we think it would be a decent move.
Over the weekend, The Sun journalist Alan Nixon suggested that the Blades could be interested in a swap deal involving Robinson and Albion flop Oliver Burke.
Again, if that is the case, superb.
Burke has struggled to make any kind of impact at The Hawthorns, and if we could get him off the books while also securing the arrival of a player who chipped in with a couple of vital goals in our promotion push, that would surely be a positive thing.
In other West Brom news, Albion are in talks over another forward’s potential exit.
