‘Seems to be warming up’ – West Brom Super Fans respond to transfer question
This is part of a regular series from our panel of West Brom Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around The Hawthorns.

West Brom are yet to do anything unexpected in the transfer window since winning promotion back to the Premier League last season.
Matheus Pereira has had his permanent deal finally confirmed by the Black Country club but other than that, Slaven Bilic and the fans have endured a slow and frustrating process.
It has been widely reported that West Brom have around £25million to spend this summer and Bilic has even spoken out [Index HR] to criticise the lack of investment in the squad.
We asked our panel of West Brom Super Fans for how they feel about the lack of signings despite the new Premier League season being just over two weeks away from kicking off.
Although Pereira is the club’s only addition since last season, the Super Fans are not exactly nervous or worried about Albion’s dealings.
Here is what they had to say:

It’s a very measured response by the West Brom Super Fans.
As a few of them pointed out, the club rarely goes into a transfer window firing all cylinders and splashing the cash on new arrivals.
Historically, it is proven that the Baggies’ big-buys usually end up flopping.
Kenneth Zohore was the biggest signing in the Championship at £8million while the likes of Oliver Burke, Nacer Chadli, Salomon Rondon, Brown Ideye and even as far back as Borja Valero have failed to meet expectations in the Black Country.
That said, we have seen some progress by the club in the last week with Sunday Times journalist Duncan Castles reporting that a bid has been tabled for QPR’s Eberechi Eze and Express & Star reporter Joseph Masi has said that talks are underway to sign Brighton goalkeeper David Button.
In other West Brom news, Albion have upped their bid to sign this highly-rated player.
