West Brom set for another Premier League vote, meeting set for Thursday – Sky journalist
The return of football after COVID-19 put a halt to sport also saw the introduction of some new rulings in the Premier League and the Championship for West Brom.
Probably the most frustrating of those were the annual water-breaks in the middle of each half, something which were used tactically in the end.
Clubs were now allowed to name nine substitutes though and were also given permission to use five of those in every game.
In an early meeting between each Premier League club, they decided not to carry that ruling through into the 20/21 season.
That could change though.
Sky Sports journalist Bryan Swanson has reported on his Twitter account that Premier League sides are now reconsidering that rule.
It is suggested that a new vote is set to take place, with that going ahead next Thursday (3rd of September).

It will be interesting to see which way the Baggies and Slaven Bilic vote this time around, with squad depth not exactly on their side at this moment.
Martyn Ziegler of the Times reported during the first vote, claiming that all three of the promoted sides voted against the use of five substitutions.
We expect the Baggies to vote the same way once again.
Voting for this rule to remain would make no sense at all, and would only benefit each of the 17 established Premier League clubs.
Imagine against the likes of Manchester City. If the Baggies were winning or even holding them to a draw, Pep Guardiola would be able to bring on five substitutes that would most likely get into our starting 11.
There will be hope from the bigger clubs, but the so-called lower teams will be crossing their fingers over this one.
