View: Previous WBA struggles to offer assurances could affect future loan offer
West Brom are interested in Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher this summer.
The Baggies have been linked with a loan switch for the 20-year-old, who has completed recent spells with Charlton and Swansea.
The Express and Star journalist Joseph Masi recently claimed this move could be “one to watch” in this window.
Birmingham Live have reported on Sunday that Chelsea are likely to sanction yet another loan move for Gallagher next season.
That will be music to the ears of many Baggies fans, although their previous attempts to bring in the playmaker have failed.
West Brom attempted to bring Gallagher to the Hawthorns in January, but their failure to offer assurances over starts in their side saw the move collapse.

Bilic has already shared his disappointment over the Baggies budget, so loan moves could be a frequent occurrence this summer.
Filip Krovinovic is the Croatian’s number one target in the window, but if that move fails to materialise, Gallagher could be the perfect replacement.
With Grady Diangana and Callum Robinson back at their parent clubs, the Albion are lacking serious depth going forward and they shouldn’t be afraid to offer assurances to both Chelsea and Gallagher.
