Krovinovic & Pereira instantly react on Instagram as West Brom confirm Diangana deal
It’s happened. West Brom have announced that Grady Diangana has returned to The Hawthorns on a permanent basis from West Ham.
We’re still in shock.
Go back a week or two and no one expected Luke Dowling and Slaven Bilic to be able to pull off a new deal for Diangana, 22, with the winger playing a role in David Moyes’ first-team during pre-season training in London.
But, on Friday night, a completed deal was announced by Albion’s official channels and fans are, understandably, in total meltdown.
West Brom players have also been reacting to the news that Diangana has returned to The Hawthorns on Instagram.
Several first-team players liked the post, including goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and defender Ahmed Hegazi, while other players posted comments.
Dara O’Shea wrote: “You love to see it.”
Matheus Pereira simply reacted by saying “yess”, followed by a series of emojis.
Most interestingly, Filip Krovinovic also replied with the Benfica midfielder yet to seal his return to The Hawthorns.
Krovinovic wrote: “Oh my daays”
Diangana joins West Brom in a deal that could be the most expensive in the club’s decorated history.
According to the Express & Star, Albion are paying an upfront fee of £12million for Diangana but that fee could rise to £18million with add-ons.
Diangana is totally worthy of being West Brom’s record signing.
He tore the Championship to shreds last season as Bilic led the Black Country club to promotion to the Premier League and we cannot wait to see how he performs in the top-flight.
Pereira and Diangana are full-time West Brom players and so far this summer, it has only taken £20million out of the club’s bank accounts.
Wow.
In other West Brom news, this is how Albion will owe West Ham an extra £2million for Diangana.
