West Brom welcomed a flurry of new signings over the weekend, with those just the beginning at the Hawthorns.
It is vital that Slaven Bilic now strengthens further in the final third, with a striker and one more winger on his agenda before the Premier League gets underway.
The Baggies are closing in on the permanent signing of previous loanee Callum Robinson in a swap move with Sheffield United for Oliver Burke.
It could happen sooner rather than later too, with the Telegraph’s John Percy claiming on Tuesday that Robinson is having his medical with the Albion today.
Should that be passed with flying colours, the Republic of Ireland international should complete his switch today or tomorrow.
Bilic and Luke Dowling will have pulled off a masterclass with this one, bringing in a fan favourite for Burke, who has made little-to-no impact during his years at the club.
In three years, the Scotsman only made 24 appearances and scored one goal. Compare that to Robinson, who found the back of the net more after his first month at the club last season.
This will also save the Baggies plenty of money, and allows them to add to their squad significantly by losing Burke who is technically no more than a reserve player.
Robinson was playing some of the best football in his career at the Hawthorns last season too, averaging the most shots on goal per game than any past campaign [WhoScored].
