‘Man of the match’, ‘Class’ – These fans react to match-winning int’l display from West Brom ace
West Brom and Poland fans were impressed with a match-winning display from winger Kamil Grosicki as Poland came from behind to beat Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday night.
Poland went a goal down in their UEFA Nations League match, but an inspired performance from Grosicki turned the game around as he scored and provided an assist for his country, with Poland eventually winning 2-1.
Grosicki made the most of his start after only making a substitute appearance against the Netherlands in Poland’s last outing.
The winger took the corner that found the head of centre-back Kamil Glik on the stroke of half time, which brought Poland level, before heading in a cross himself in the 67th minute.
Grosicki’s goal handed Poland the win and sent them to third in their Nations League group, only one point off group leaders Italy.
The main priority for Baggies fans will be that Grosicki has made it through his international duties without picking up an injury, meaning he can participate in West Brom’s opening Premier League fixture against Leicester City.
The Baggies will be looking for Grosicki to provide valuable top-flight experience and he will be looking to add to his 15 appearances and four assists for Hull City in the Premier League.
