‘Another Dowling masterclass’ – Many West Brom fans wowed by ‘Excellent player’ transfer update
West Brom fans are delighted with the news that the club is reportedly in talks with Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher over a potential loan deal.
According to Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg, the Baggies have stepped up their pursuit of the 20-year-old, who impressed while on loan at both Charlton and Swansea in the Championship last season.
The Daily Mail has since added that Chelsea are keen to send the England Under-21 international out on loan again as long as he joins a club where he will play regularly.

It is understood that Leeds are also interested in Gallagher, which could make for an interesting battle in the transfer window between two of the three newly-promoted clubs.
West Brom fans have made it pretty clear they would be happy to see Slaven Bilic get one over on Marcelo Bielsa with their reaction to the news that talks are underway.
One supporter has called Gallagher an “excellent player” while another says that signing the Chelsea midfielder “would be a very good piece of business”.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
Gallagher has been dubbed as the “new Frank Lampard” while former Chelsea enforcer Claude Makelele has hailed the 20-year-old’s development in the last year.
Makelele said: “He has a lot of qualities.
“Physically, technical, you can see a lot of progress in just six months.
“He is becoming a leader in the starting team.”
West Brom could do with some more leaders in their squad after losing Gareth Barry and Chris Brunt at the end of last season.
Although Gallagher isn’t as experienced, he’s someone who we’d be happy to see the Baggies use up one of their loan slots for.
In other West Brom news, Sky Sports have detailed a major twist in the Callum Robinson and Oliver Burke swap deal with Sheffield United.
