Peter Crouch predicts where West Brom will finish in 20/21 PL table

Peter Crouch has predicted that West Brom will finish bottom of the Premier League this season.

The Baggies kick-off their top flight campaign with a clash against Leicester City on Sunday after a two-year absence from the division.

But the former England international does not hold out much hope for Albion over the course of a 38-game campaign.

When asked to name his final standings during an interview with GiveMeSport, Crouch had the Baggies finishing dead last.

The ex-striker also predicts that Aston Villa and Fulham will be relegated, with Brighton narrowly avoiding the drop.

At the other end of the table, Crouch believes that Manchester City will win the league title back from Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp’s Reds rounding out the top four alongside Chelsea and Manchester United.

This isn’t exactly a surprise, truth be told.

We’ve already seen a number of pundits writing West Brom off as relegation fodder this season, but there’s no reason to believe that our attacking talents can’t cause some serious trouble to a lot of clubs.

With Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira in the side we will always carry a goal threat, and if we can bring in the right striker to spearhead the forward line then we will surely pose more of a threat than other clubs at the wrong end of the table.

Really though, what this amounts to is that you can’t rubbish a team before they’ve had a chance to prove themselves.

Who, for example, could have foreseen Sheffield United thriving in the way they did last term?

The chances are that this season will be exceptionally tough for Albion, but the point is that we’re not out of it until we’re out of it.
