Some West Brom fans tear ‘Liability’ to shreds in loss v Leicester: ‘Get rid’, ‘Woeful’
It was not a happy return to the Premier League for West Brom this weekend as they were hammered 3-0 by Leicester City at The Hawthorns.
Timothy Castagne’s goal and two Jamie Vardy penalties sealed all three points to the Foxes and consigned Slaven Bilic’s side to a more-than-disappointing home defeat in the Black Country.
It is almost impossible to pick out a good performance from any West Brom player, which much of the focus being on who was the worst of Bilic’s bunch in the crushing defeat.
Centre-back Kyle Bartley was arguably the most-criticised Albion player during the match with the defender bringing down Vardy in the penalty box ahead of the Leicester striker putting his side 2-0 up from the spot.
It was an awful bit of defending from the former Swansea defender and questions are bound to be raised about his spot in the starting line-up.
Ahmed Hegazi was left on the bench while it has been widely reported that Branislav Ivanovic will join up with Bilic’s squad on a free transfer.
After that performance, we’d expect Bilic and Luke Dowling to act as soon as possible to strengthen various areas of the squad but for now, Bartley has been absolutely hammered for his performance on Sunday.
