‘Best striker in the world’ – Many WBA fans delighted with reported hunt for ‘Natural finisher’

West Brom have been linked with a move for Rennes forward M’Baye Niang over the weekend.

The Baggies have struggled in their first two Premier League fixtures, with Callum Robinson failing to find the back of the net so far.

Slaven Bilic wants another forward at the Hawthorns, but their budget is restricted and the Albion may need to ger creative in their negotiations.

The Sun journalist Alan Nixon reported on Sunday that the Baggies are keen on Niang, with the only problem being the loan fee they will pay for the season.

Reporting on his personal Twitter account, Nixon claimed that if West Brom avoid relegation this season, a permanent deal is possible.

The Baggies have been given a massive boost in their reported pursuit over the weekend though, with Niang missing Rennes’ clash with Monaco.

The Sun have reported that the Senegalese forward has had a huge bust-up with the French club, and is now desperate for a switch to the Hawthorns.

On one hand, this is great news as it should make Niang available, but on the other, will Bilic want to add a potential bad attitude to his squad?

There were reports surrounding Matheus Pereira and his terrible attitude before his move, and that hasn’t been a problem, so this may not be a problem for the Baggies.

What do the West Brom fans think? Many have reacted to the links, and have been delighted that Niang has become a target of the Albion.
