Slaven Bilic once again made a number of changes to his West Brom side for the Carabao Cup clash with Brentford on Tuesday.

The Croatian swapped his entire side at the Hawthorns and handed out debuts to both Conor Gallagher and Branislav Ivanovic.

There were three penalties in the game, with the clash finishing 2-2 after 90 minutes, the Baggies eventually losing on spot-kicks.

With Chelsea the next game in the Premier League, Bilic handed Gallagher the opportunity knowing that he would be ineligible for the clash with his parent club.

He started quickly too, missing a perfect opportunity to get off the mark instantly for the Baggies, firing over from the edge of the box.

Throughout the game, Gallagher got more and more into the clash, and he started spraying the ball around with ease to his teammates.

Many Baggies fans reacted to the debut of Gallagher on Tuesday, with the majority happy to finally see some urgency in midfield.

One claimed that he “loved his movements” as the playmaker started to settle into his free-roaming role in the middle of the park.
