Slaven Bilic told Chelsea senior man to ‘shut up’ as things got heated in West Brom 3-3 draw
West Brom boss Slaven Bilic is not a manager who you want to be getting on the wrong side of – and that seems to be what Chelsea assistant manager Jody Morris did on Saturday.
The Baggies picked up their first point of the season in a 3-3 draw at The Hawthorns but managed to let slip of a three-goal lead they held at half-time.
Things were getting heated on the touchline when the score was 3-2 as West Brom aimed to defend their lead and pick up their first Premier League win of the campaign.
As quoted by Birmingham Mail journalist Joe Chapman, Bilic and Morris clashed with Bilic saying: “Jody, shut up.”
We love Bilic’s passion and aggression.
He did take that a little bit too far at Everton last week when he was sent to the stands by referee Mike Dean for confronting the referee on the pitch at Goodison Park at half-time.
However, we would much rather have a manager who cares, who can put the fear in opposition than someone who is just a nice guy who keeps himself quiet.
Bilic isn’t afraid of anyone and ex-Chelsea midfielder Morris is no pushover himself.
Even though it hasn’t been an amazing start to the Premier League season, we would not want to swap Bilic for anyone at the moment so we hope that the form can continue to improve so that he signs a new contract to extend his stay past the end of next summer.
