Matheus Pereira posts three-word reaction as Krovinovic secures West Brom return
Matheus Pereira is probably the happiest man in the Black Country right now after West Brom confirmed Filip Krovinovic’s return to The Hawthorns on Tuesday.
Krovinovic, 25, and Pereira, 24, played crucial roles in West Brom’s successful Championship promotion campaign last season and in the process of helping the Baggies go up, they struck a great friendship.
That friendship has since been dubbed as a “BROMance” by Albion’s official Twitter account.
Pereira was used to announce Krovinovic’s return and the Brazilian attacker has since taken to his personal Instagram account to the react to the news.
In a post on his story, Pereira simply said: “He is back!”
Krovinovic is clearly a popular character in the West Brom dressing room and that is perhaps one of the many reasons why Slaven Bilic was so desperate to re-sign the Croatian playmaker.
The on-loan Benfica ace only started around half of the Baggies’ Championship fixtures last season and could struggle to start in the Premier League with Bilic opting for a 3-4-3 formation.
Jake Livermore and Romaine Sawyers were the first-choice central midfielders last season and his current formation only uses two.
Conor Gallagher is also at The Hawthorns now on loan from Chelsea so Krovinovic has more competition for a spot in the side.
In other West Brom news, the Baggies have been offered the chance to sign this Ligue 1 striker on loan for £6million.
