Michael Appleton set for third West Brom raid with deadline day loan move – report

Michael Appleton is set to once again raid West Brom on deadline day with another loan move in his sights at Sincil Bank.

The Lincoln boss has already taken Callum Morton and Alex Palmer on loan from the Hawthorns, with both impressing.

Morton has recently been ruled out for a number of months though with a shoulder injury, with another Albion prospect potentially taking his place.

Gloucester Live have reported on Monday that West Brom forward Jamie Soule is on the verge of moving to Lincoln on loan.

EFL clubs have until the 16th of October to bring in players from the Premier League, although they could seal a deal for Soule as early as Monday.

Soule sealed a move to Barrow last season and impressed as they earned promotion to the Football League under Ian Evatt.

The 19-year-old has impressed this season too, playing both in the EFL Trophy and the Premier League 2 for the Baggies.

Loan market helping the Baggies

West Brom have already sent a number of their younger players out on loan during this window, and those spells are definitely working.

Palmer has impressed more than Morton at Lincoln, but the striker did score his first goal for the club before picking up his unfortunate injury.

The one player who is taking advantage of his spell away from the club this season is Finn Azaz at Cheltenham.

The midfielder has scored a number of goals and was even voted as their Player of the Month recently – something we were ecstatic to see.
