‘Not for me’, ‘No thanks’ – Some West Brom fans hit out over ‘Ridiculous’ PL decision
The Premier League have announced that West Brom fans will have to shell out even more cash if they want to watch their team on TV for the rest of the season.
From the end of October, games that haven’t been picked for selection on Sky Sports or BT Sport will be available to buy on pay-per-view for £14.95.
Understandably some fans are annoyed that they will have to pay more money on top of their subscriptions to Sky and BT to watch their team play.

In a statement the Premier League said, “In addition, the five matches per round not already selected will be made available to supporters on a pay-per-view basis, accessed via BT Sport Box Office and Sky Sports Box Office platforms.
“Clubs today agreed this interim solution to enable all fans to continue to watch their teams live. The Premier League has worked closely with Sky Sports and BT Sport to provide this arrangement and is grateful for their support. The agreement will be regularly reviewed in consultation with clubs and in line with any decisions made by Government regarding the return of spectators to stadiums.
“Football is not the same without supporters at matches. The Premier League and our clubs remain committed to the safe return of fans as soon as possible.”

So if Baggies fans want to see their team play back in the top flight, then as it stands they may need to shell out £15 to watch their side every time a West Brom game isn’t picked for TV.
This decision has not gone down well with fans of Premier League clubs, including Baggies fans. Some have called the move ‘ridiculous’ and others have said they won’t be paying the fee.
