West Brom striker Karlan Grant made his debut for the club against Burnley in the Premier League on Monday evening.
The Baggies forward only joined the club on Thursday evening and had one training session on Friday before the clash.
It was one of six changes made by Slaven Bilic, who also handed league debuts to Conor Gallagher and Branislav Ivanovic.
Grant took some time to settle in the final third but quickly found his feet to show how dangerous he could be at the Hawthorns.
The pace on show was clear to see, and an early chance was blazed over after good work from the Albion in midfield.
It was almost the perfect first-half in his debut soon after, when he headed in his debut goal, only to see the offside flag raised.
Despite being disallowed, it was a promising sign of Grant losing his man with ease and finishing superbly with a glanced header.
Grant was eventually taken off midway through the second half for Callum Robinson, and Bilic was surely happy with what he saw from his new striker.
Many West Brom fans have reacted to the debut of their new striker on Twitter, with the majority delighted with the impact he made.
Some did point out that despite his runs in the final third, the midfield was far too slow and needed to be quicker and more direct to exploit his strengths.

I see that signing karlan grant has made no difference at all to the inability of our midfield to pass forwards #WBABUR

Think we need to bring Robinson on at some point. Not sure whether grant will last the 90 as is. Gallagher is busy and offers pace but is weak #WBA very early in his time with us though
