View: WBA replicating strong defence v Brighton could see Chris Kamara embarrassed

West Brom earned their first clean sheet of the Premier League season on Monday as they drew 0-0 against Burnley.

Slaven Bilic made some drastic changes to his defence, opting for a new partnership between Ahmed Hegazi and Branislav Ivanovic.

The experience of that duo was clear and helped both Conor Townsend and Darnell Furlong against a physical Burnley side.

Despite that, Chris Kamara believes that Brighton are all-but-certain to win and find the back of the net with ease against the Baggies on Monday.

“Brighton have a great fixture against a winless West Brom on Monday,” he wrote in Foot Stock blog.

“They’ve scored in every single one of their Premier League games so far, and look odds on to make it six on the bounce.”

Another strong defensive display from the Baggies could see Kamara embarrassed, given his massive confidence in the Brighton attack.

West Brom

Burnley were dispossessed 11 times at the Hawthorns and only won 25 aerial battles compared to the Baggies 29 according to WhoScored.

That is the Clarets’ main strength, so for the Albion to dominate them in that area is impressive. They will identify Brighton’s main strengths which is their ability to keep the ball and attack at speed and look to counter that.

If they can and manage to keep another clean sheet, Kamara will be left red-faced.
