John Percy shares timescale as WBA & Forest prepare for Kamil Grosicki legal action
Nottingham Forest are still confident of completing a deal to sign West Brom winger Kamil Grosicki.
The Championship side reportedly missed the deadline to complete a move for the Polish international by 21 seconds on deadline day last week.
It was said that Forest are taking legal action to complete a move for the Baggies player, who wasn’t included in their Premier League squad.
Telegraph journalist John Percy has shared an update on their pursuit of Grosicki, and it appears there isn’t going to be an outcome soon.
Percy reported on his personal Twitter account that the two clubs are set for arbitration at the start of next week to resolve the issue.
This deal appears to be dragging on longer than necessary, with West Brom’s game against Brighton on Monday set to push it back even further.
It could mean that legal proceedings don’t start until Tuesday, and this deal needs to be concluded sooner rather than later.
Although it was confirmed that Grosicki could be added back to the Premier League squad if needed, it appears that his future is away from the Hawthorns.
Chris Hughton claimed he was confident of completing a deal for the Polish international, who has not done enough to impress Slaven Bilic since pre-season and promotion.
