Some West Brom fans have reacted after discovering that Kamil Grosicki has been added to Albion’s Premier League squad following his failed transfer to Nottingham Forest.
It was announced by the EFL on Thursday morning that Grosicki’s proposed transfer to Forest had fallen through after an appeal lodged by the Championship club was lost. Albion had agreed a deal to sell Grosicki on deadline day but the potential move hit a snag.
The papers that needed to be submitted to make the deal happen were sent in just seconds after the transfer deadline closed and the EFL have decided to block the transfer.
Following Thursday’s announcement, the Baggies confirmed that Grosicki had been added to their Premier League squad as they had only filled 24 of the 25 available spaces.
The statement on Albion’s website says that the Poland international is available to be selected immediately now he has been added to their squad, meaning he could make an appearance in Albion’s next game against Fulham on Monday.
Some Baggies fans took to social media to say how happy they are that Grosicki is now available to Slaven Bilic, while others have already suggested who he could replace in the Croatian’s team.
