‘Dodged a bullet’ – Zohore mocked by some fans on Twitter after what happened in Millwall win
West Brom loanee Kenneth Zohore had quite the night on Wednesday when he earned his first start for Millwall in the Championship.
The 26-year-old, who joined Millwall on loan until January earlier this month, managed to mark his full debut with a goal in the London club’s 2-0 win over Preston at Deepdale.
However, Zohore’s goal isn’t what caught the attention of football fans on social media on Wednesday night.
Before the former Cardiff striker managed to score his goal, he fired a shot at goal that was so far off target it ended up going out for a throw-in.
West Brom reportedly paid £8million for the Dane last year.
Albion fans were quick to comment on Zohore’s wayward effort, with many mocking the club’s most expensive signing of their recent spell in the Championship.

It wasn’t just West Brom fans who reacted to Zohore’s mishit strike against Preston on Wednesday night as fans of other clubs also gave their thoughts.

Zohore was linked with a number of clubs before he eventually joined Millwall on a short-term loan last month.
While we’re glad to see Big Ken getting off the mark and scoring his first goal for the Championship club, it’s hard to ignore his mishap in his side’s win at Preston.
But if Zohore’s getting starts and scoring goals, we cannot really complain and we still wish the Dane the best while he’s down south at The Den.
He could return to West Brom next year looking like a completely different player to the one that left last month and Slaven Bilic might want to reconsider his stance on his future.
