Krovinovic shares behind-the-scenes clip of Grosicki at WBA today after Forest transfer collapse

Kamil Grosicki seems to be in good spirits at West Brom despite his proposed move to Nottingham Forest being blocked by the EFL this week.

Forest tried to sign Grosicki, 32, on loan from the Baggies on transfer deadline day but failed to submit their paperwork before the 5pm deadline.

Earlier this week, a hearing was held to decide whether the transfer will go through but a statement by the EFL has confirmed the deal has collapsed and West Brom have since announced Grosicki has been re-added to their Premier League squad.

And Grosicki does not seem to have been left fazed by the news, judging by a video clip of him that Filip Krovinovic uploaded to his Instagram story.

Krovinovic’s clip shows Grosicki in the gym, seemingly using a piece of equipment wrongly and being corrected by a Baggies coach.

The Croatian midfielder clearly found it funny, saying: “Always good atmosphere in WBA.”

Krovinovic is one of the biggest characters at West Brom and he’s already shown in previous Instagram posts that he’s not afraid to have a bit of banter with his team-mates.

Grosicki also seems to be a player who had a good sense of humour and it’s great to see him not putting his head down and sulking about the Forest deal not going through.

Although it means he’s unlikely to play as much, the Poland international now remains a Premier League player and could play a role in helping the Baggies avoid relegation this season.

With Matt Phillips and Kyle Edwards in unconvincing form, the former Hull and Rennes winger could get a game or two before the transfer window re-opens in January.

It remains to be seen whether West Brom will attempt to offload Grosicki again but he needs to try and show why they need to keep him around.

In other West Brom news, Kevin Phillips has tipped this 23-year-old to earn a league debut with the Baggies in the coming weeks.
