View: Bilic to axe summer signing, criticised star to return – Predicted West Brom XI v Fulham

West Brom face fellow strugglers Fulham at Craven Cottage on Monday evening in a crucial bottom of the table Premier League clash.

The Baggies sit 17th in the Premier League table with three points from their opening six matches, with Fulham 19th having only picked up one point so far (via WhoScored).

Ahead of the match, West Brom have no new injury concerns, with long-term absentees Hal Robson-Kanu and Sam Field the only players that are unavailable.

In goal, ever-present Sam Johnstone is set to continue after notching up his 100th league appearance for the club last time out.

Ahead of him, we expect to see the back four of Darnell Furlong, Branislav Ivanovic, Semi Ajayi and Conor Townsend after a couple of improved defensive performances in recent weeks.

In midfield, Jake Livermore should continue as the defensive shield, but Romaine Sawyers – who has faced criticism this season – could come back into the side after receiving encouragement from coach Bilic this week.

The former Brentford man could replace Conor Gallagher, who has started the last two Premier League matches, and feature alongside Filip Krovinovic who played a key role in the equaliser against Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend.

Out wide, Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira will be tasked with creating chances for striker Karlan Grant, who will continue after opening his Premier League account at the Amex Stadium.
