‘In the moment…’ – Kyle Edwards posts Twitter message addressing poor WBA run
West Brom are in a shocking run of form in the Premier League.
The Baggies are still yet to win a single game since their promotion from the Championship, and questions are starting to be asked.
After the latest defeat, the 2-0 loss against Fulham at Craven Cottage, question marks even started to surround Slaven Bilic and his job.
Bilic has since urged his players to become smarter, and even play dirty as he looks to turn a corner at the Hawthorns, starting against Tottenham on Sunday.
What do the players think though?
Kyle Edwards has posted a message on his personal Twitter account this week, claiming that this is what the Baggies squad “live for.”
“In the moment, this is what we live for,” he wrote.
After watching the recent games, this message couldn’t seem more contradictory.
The defeat against Fulham was the tipping point.
There was little effort on show, and Bilic even came out after the game and claimed that Conor Gallagher and Branislav Ivanovic were the only two to show real commitment.
Edwards has tried to put on a brave face, but the majority of the responses on Twitter and Instagram seemed to laugh and claim that the squad were doing completely the opposite.
The game against Spurs has to bring change, because if the Baggies play as they did against Fulham, the outcome will be much, much worst.
