West Brom manager Slaven Bilic is a man under pressure.
Reports have surfaced claiming that if the Baggies were to lose heavily against Spurs this weekend, the Croatian could be packing his bags.
The Mirror went one step further, reporting that Charlton’s Lee Bowyer had already been lined up to take charge at the Hawthorns.
How did Bilic respond to that?
The Baggies boss was in front of the media on Friday, and he was full of fire as he urged his side to have more passion and want to win more.
Bilic claimed many expected his side to be bottom, and they aren’t, but he wants them to be ready for a “gun-fight” in their bid for survival.
This is exactly what we want to see.
After the 2-0 defeat against Fulham, Bilic claimed only Conor Gallagher and Branislav Ivanovic showed commitment.
That isn’t good enough, and the Albion need all 11 players fighting at 100% if they want to pick up points regularly in the Premier League.
Spurs may be a daunting challenge on the horizon, but West Brom must use this as their motivation to prove everyone wrong, and Bilic is clearly ready for that if this is anything to go by.
Many West Brom fans have reacted to the clip of the boss, claiming that the players will want to run through brick walls after watching that.
For some, it made them question why the players had looked unmotivated when Bilic was showing show much passion off the pitch.
