Many West Brom fans saying the same thing about Bilic after 1-0 defeat v Spurs
Slaven Bilic was looking for a reaction from his West Brom side in the game against Spurs and he got it – although it still wasn’t enough to get a point from the match.
That was cruelly denied West Brom when Harry Kane popped up to score in the last few minutes of the game.
West Brom deserved more and there are plenty of West Brom fans who were all saying the same thing after the game – that there’s no way that Bilic should be sacked.
Some were very vocal about it, with one saying he wouldn’t watch football again if Bilic was given the boot. He said, “Why sack someone if you can’t get anyone better?”
Another said, “If you think Bilic needs to be sacked there is something wrong with you. Who else out there can come in and do any better?”
That’s the million-dollar question at the moment.
It had been said that Bilic’s job was in danger if West Brom suffered a heavy defeat against Spurs. Well, this was as far removed from a heavy defeat as any loss can be, so we think Bilic has at least earned a stay of execution.
The trouble is, things aren’t getting any easier with a trip to Man United next on the fixture list.
Bilic has split fans over the past couple of weeks but the majority of fans on Twitter want to see him continue in the job after Sunday’s game.
