‘Sack the board’, ‘Liquidate’ – Some West Brom fans furious with latest update on Bilic future
West Brom fans are furious with the latest on Slaven Bilic’s future at The Hawthorns after the Mirror reported that the manager’s future is still in doubt.
Even though Albion put in a spirited display in their 1-0 defeat to Tottenham before the international break, Mirror journalist James Nursey claims that Bilic is treading a tightrope ahead of his side’s next match against Manchester United next week.
West Brom are reportedly considering who could replace Bilic if they pull the trigger with Charlton manager Lee Bowyer seemingly on the Black Country club’s shortlist.
Understandably, Albion fans are less than pleased by the club’s stance on Bilic after such an impressive performance against Spurs.
West Brom were on top for periods of the match but were ultimately undone by a late Harry Kane goal.
Bilic has proven popular among supporters since his arrival in the West Midlands last year and even though the Baggies are winless and third-from-bottom in the Premier League, fans are sticking by the Croatian.

If West Brom were going to sack Bilic in the international break then they surely would have done it already.
The performance in the defeat to Tottenham bought the Croatian some time and you would imagine that a knee-jerk decision won’t be made after the Man United game too.
After Man United, West Brom’s fixtures get easier – on paper – so that could be the key period for Bilic because Albion need to get a win on the board as soon as possible in order to relieve some of this pressure.
